So I get this orphan lad, very religious-sounding, and I kind of had my hands full for a bit, so I just toss a quickie off at him:

So I never really intended to start Church Baiting, but it's kind of like he's begging me to at this point. My reverend (a new character) has written him explaining that my original character was testing his faith, and that he passed with flying colors, go him! Now he's being offered a brand-new chance to join TWAT, and all the glories of God that go with it.

Sweet, I'm sure he'll jump through the hoops, or maybe not, it takes alot of emails to find that one special you can play with until you wear it out. Once you get bored with it, you can leave it streded somewhere but sometimes like a crazy ex, they keep coming back for more.

Yeah, I don't know how far he'll go, but he's pretty persistent with me when I'm just insulting him, so who knows?

You may have picked up one of those devout lads. Crazy as it may sound (what isn't crazy about lads?), many lads think themselves to be very religious. I've been dropped right at payday for blasphemy before by a few lads.

Yeah... I know: If they're so religious, why is stealing not a problem? I haven't figured that one out yet. Actually I haven't really tried. But as you can see, a religious mugu can be more fun than a drunken prom date!

Lads think that if they pray to God for a victim, and receive them in their email, then it is ok with God, because he sent them there. God allowed the victims to send them the money. ^^ Criminals and otherwise unethical people all over the world find a way to justify their acts with their religion. The old Sicilian and Sicilian-based mafiosos, who were devout catholic, considered themselves officially at war with rival families, police, etc. so killing someone was simply a battlefield casualty which is apparently fine with the pope. Confused

Go figure.

I think I've stumbled into a new (to me) and delightfully amusing modality here. If I see any religious text, they're going to get nothing but mockery from me for being Christian. Those that respond are juicy targets.
