My lad has sent me a picture of him and his wife, his family, and an atrotious forgery of his work ID pass. Now he wants me to send him some pics of me and my family.
I have found some photos of random people that fit my character perfectly, but how does that fit in with the baiting ethos?
Is it acceptable to use these pics or not?

I've used crayola drawn pictures of my family that I was so proud to share because my daughter had drawn them, and boy were they accurate!
You could also do the .dll thing labeled .jpg
I wouldn't use someone else's pics, unless they were badly defaced...now there is a twist... "Here is a pic of my ex-wife, I drew the horns on her head and blackened her teeth because she is a real witch!"
"This is my pic but I wasn't wearing my glasses on that day and I always wear my glasses, so I drew them on myself so you would recognize me if you saw me in a crowd."

Mr kelvin Jordon that call you from our branch office in canada explain that the chicken background voice has been querried, claiming the voice was his telephone ringing tone, therefore accept my deepest appology for that.

It's fine to use pictures of random people you find on the internet, as long as you don't use their names or any personal references. |

The fake family don't even come from the same country as my character, they just look so perfect for the job. |

If it is a public figure (like maybe a B list celebrity) then it would generally be considered acceptable. If for some reason a ticked off scammer were to try to track the photos, it would be obvious they were just taken off the net. And public figures who have chosen to be public figures don't have the same expectations of privacy as us common individuals.
If they are taken off an individual's myspace page or something like that, then you would potentially be violating the ITP rule if a scammer could easily trace it.

I have been known to send a black page, if they query I'm all "sorry forgot to take the lens cap off"
Or figures far in the distance but with a big house or farm in the background also work ( one lad congratulated me on the size of my compound! ) |
