Hi guys, I used to be part of a part-time underground scam baiter crew (all knew each other in real life, no web page or forums). We have recently parted ways due to life issues such as war, time, families, etc. We still keep contact with each other. Anyways I can't get enough of scam baiting. I have decided to come here for a sense of community in my work.

I have retired all of my old Email/Accounts and decided to start new. New name, new stories, new community.

It seems like there are many scam bait masters here, I am not one of them. I do however love hanging out and reading your stories which many are far more amazing than my own.

I look forward to many new friends, laughs, and challenges.

Good to have you here Seru. You may want/need to read up on our guidelines and basic rules. We always bait safe and never give any real info.
I guess you don't need to read up on basic baiting, but some of our better modalities are quite complex.

Hope you have fun here.

Sounds like a plan. I'm browsing the forums and website, reading all FAQ and Guidelines.

I look forward to working with a mentor as my previous experiences were very limited and not in the same scope as you guys seem to have.

Before I do anything I'm going to take some time to catch up with some reading.

There are some [EPIC] scam baits here. I'm rolling on the floor. Even my dog is LOLing.

Good, smart dog you have Laughing
reading up is the best way to start and you can figure out what you might want to bait, some go just for lotto lads, others kill websites, I'm just a straight baiter on anything that seems interesting, Wayne has his own specialty Wink Just what makes you tick the best.

There are two rules you won't have been told Seru

Never hurt a Lad's feelings

and

Never tell a Lad a lie

... that's because they don't exist. Laughing

Hi, Seru Very Happy
Wow, this sounds intruguing - have you posted some email exchanges somewhere in a blog or so, possibly?
What were your aims "back then", who were your favourite lads, and what was your background (obviously not Eater then and related tools), I mean, infrastructure? Time-wasting by elaborate email stories, possibly, or mass insults, or alternating?

The only thing I did before finding this place was wasting time of cold-callers, by simply asking everything allover again...would not do it again nowadays, since it is a decent way of making a living, and not illegal, however, at that time I found it logical not to simply end the call early but making it as long-winded as possible. Went really well with one repeated caller. We are still friends now, I found out she did that as a holiday job selling SKL lottery tickets. We´re still sending birthday greeting cards to each other. And, no, I haven´t bought 20 lottery tickets since then!

My buddy would hunt for lads. Many times we got them from managing a school network and auditing the teachers email boxes.

My Job was to find material in storage space or email boxes that was less than school worthy and transfer it to holding (time, date, burn to cd, remove from main system).

Many teachers were losing money to scams from their emails. It turns out teachers were more scamable than the students. (and we trust them to look after our kids?)

Many teachers also maintained large amounts of pornography or inappropriate convos with pervs. That's a story for another day. And no it wasn't just the male teachers, there seemed to be a equal amount of slime-balls on either gender's side.

We would often times intercept teachers being scammed. Even after told it was a scam many teachers didn't believe it. We ended up having to ban whole countries from the Email system, as well as many proxies.

Many of the things we did were either covered in a NDA or not ok by this forums guidelines.

We sent many lads to very bad places. We even got one to fly out to America because he thought he was getting 550K$ (never agreed to it, he just thought he'd be able to get it out of us) The address to the hotel we gave him was actually a police station. We've also sent some lads into hostile territory wearing the wrong colors with the wrong signs.

We loved package scams. Either through love, or import/export get rich quick schemes Lads wanted us to send them packages. The way we did the package scams may or may not be ok for this site, not sure will have to check the rules. You should see how far a lad is wiling to go for a few laptops. Lap-Top Pet Brick that is. Pipe cleaner legs, spray-painted body, and those crazy shaky eyes. We only ever did this twice with any good resolution. A teacher was actually convinced to send packages acting as a proxy that would be later sold on the street. We had to contact the police and have them deal with many aspects of the investigation but they still let us have our fun.

We once sent a lad a box inside of a box inside of a box inside of a box inside of a .... we had a lot of boxes. at the bottom was a jewelers ring box with a penny inside it. He actually made it through all the layers of box. He must have had enough box to fill a small room when they were all out of each other.

We found a lad in California that must have hit it big on another scam. We told his neighbors exactly who he was and what he was doing. They made it very hard for him to live. He ended up moving, but left a forwarding address. Wash rinse repeat. He finally left the US (we think).

My personal history is nothing impressive. Many of these jobs were done with 8 or more people at once. Often times we would mess up not knowing what we were all doing. Most of the time it paid off.

@Seru - Welcome a'board the Eater.

Similarly to you, I was baiting for a number of years before I stumbled across this community.
Until then I thought I was the only idiot in the World that jerked these scammers around. I didn't even know it was called scam baiting.

Anyway, putting my green Mod hat on, I am delighted that you are taking the time to read the rules & guidelines, and I am sure you will be a great asset here....... Very Happy
