I'm working away at the moment and didn't think I'd have time to bait, but to my delight I've managed to find the time to get a couple of quickie side baits on the go.

I've got to the payment stage today with my clown like Barrister, Ben Chr!s.
Frankly I was shocked at the penny pinching, stingy nature of this King of low expectations. All he asks is:

Now I know the rationale behind this, and once he gets that, he'll ask for more... but fifty paltry quid for my full on American Psycho impression? I'm insulted. At least they usually like to talk big, somewhere above the 1000 dollar mark. Coming on like a deranged company executive and discussing Olver People's glasses and Valentino suits can be difficult when you're being asked for less than the cost of a bottle of champers to seal the deal. Sad

I got a courier fee whittled down from £300 down to £85...

The lad eventually just asked me "whatever you can afford, just pay that".. Very Happy

When I was baiting "Joyce", a love lad, "she" had tried to get me to pay a fee of $100. For some reason, there was a problem with the payment. I think her barrister stole it after I paid. Wink

So, "she" told me that she needed money for soap, shampoo and womanly products:

Nice topic...

My third bait (which is still on and off) wanted $1450 for "dummurage" fees, and I got her down to $300.

Consequently, I chopped her about two weeks after that, claiming I had sent not $300, but $3000.

She didn't seem to notice the differential...

I wouldn't say $400 is nothing but I am surprised how patiently Chucky Soludo is waiting for the sum from me. Until now, we have exchanged 46 e-mails between us, and he is, needless to say, still without his monies. Very Happy

I think the $185 demanded by General J0seph K0ne Gu3i of the West African Monetary Institute in a current bait is the lowest sum a Lad's demanded from me.

I had a lad where I was trying to get him to fill in some art contracts. He said he needed $125 to scan and print off the forms from the cafe computer, and then to buy the pens from the store. Rolling Eyes

USD150, then when I said we dont do USD in the Uk he changed his mind and said 50 pounds or 80 Euro, he couldnt quite decide how much the fee was and obviously was to lazy to check currency conversion rates

Some time ago one of my lads asked me to send him £20 in a greetings card when several other modalities proved unsuccessful (my character was a cash-only luddite, don't ask me why he was ok with email). i sent the card, but tore the envelope open to make it look like someone else had helped himself to the goods.
