Wow! This is really great! I know a lot of people that listen to this - I get a lot of recommendations to listen in but have never really had the time.

I will certainly be listening!! Great job, guys. It'll be interesting to see what happens here on the forums the day the interview comes out...

The show is syndicated so I'm sure the date/time just depends on what station/location you're listening from. The XM broadcast I listed as EDT would be 4 hours (I think?) earlier than GMT if you're in Britain. Also any XM subscriber can listen from the XM website's online broadcast, in case you only have XM in your car or whatever.

I'm really excited to see that there is so much interest in this. Again, we may very well come off looking like total jerks, but par for the course I guess. Ira was indeed a cool guy. He did a great job with the interview in my opinion. He asked a lot of really good, probing questions.

One thing that was really weird about the interview... honestly, it sounded so bad telling this story to someone who had never heard it. It sounds so absolutely dreadful just reading it dry like that. When you are involved in it and following it, the feeling is so much more lighthearted. However, when you are explaining it to someone who is not involved in baiting and doesn't fully understand the drama that lads like to make, it sounds much worse. There were a couple of questions asked that really made my stomach turn. The interview was about 3 hours. The first two were a breeze. Then, we got to one point where he had me read an email Adamu wrote that started off with, "I'm dying here." He asked what we thought about that. Of course we said it was hilarious. He replied, "I just don't find it funny." After that we got started on the ethics stuff. It was about an hour of the most difficult Q & A I have ever had. Honestly, when I left, I was really pretty tired and worn. Ira does do a phenomenal job in the interview process though. He was really cool.

The fact that Adamu is now alive and well and back to scamming takes away any sympathy I ever had for him (not that I had any).

^^I agree. And people who do not know what the lads are capable of doing and have done to innocent victims should learn about these scammers first and what we do here, before making any judgements about our ethics. I hope and I'm sure you three guys tried to explain how criminal and "morally bankrupt" as a lad described himself lately these lads are. Closed minds are not capable of learning anything, and misconceptions of what we do here will occur if the public is not educated about scammers. I'm looking forward to hearing that last hour, especially.

Can't wait to hear this interview. I'm sure Ira will depict a fairer representation of what we do here than would say Terry Gross. Personally, I'd love to hear Garrison Keillor tell the tale in the "News from Lake Wobegon" format. Laughing
