Many of you might be familiar with our Chad bait. Well, it has caused quite a buzz, given its extreme nature. Anyway, we have a show airing this Saturday about the bait. We went into the studio a few weeks back to do what was a pretty in depth interview about the bait. We had a lot of fun doing the interview together. They did ask some REALLY probing questions. At times, it felt much like what I imagine a court questioning to be like.

The show is called This American Life, hosted by Ira Glass. We are really excited about hearing the show's airing. I have a feeling they may paint us as pretty hardcore guys, but it should be interesting nonetheless. It may make you hate some of us EVEN MORE than you already do!

In my town, the show airs at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 13th. I presume it is different for those in other places. For those of you unable to listen to it when it airs, you can download the Podcast next Monday. It's always one of the top 5 podcasts.

I look forward to listening. The media can pretty much paint things the way they want to. If you just focus on the hell you put the lads through, you do come across as big time asswipes. If you focus on the hell you put the lads through, along with the scamming bastages the lads are, you guys come off looking like heroes.

Ira Glass is pretty big time (on NPR anyway) and I usually find his pieces to be even-handed (although with you assholes, who knows?).

Sounds like the theme is vigilantism in a lawless environment. I doubt the commentator could surprise you guys with anything you hadn't seen before in a hundred different ethics forums here.

It was a bit more professional that all that. Since the three of us live thousands of miles apart, we were each asked to appear at local radio stations, where the radio show had leased studio time. Once we all arrived at our designated radio stations, the studio engineers spent about 20-30 minutes getting everyone talking to each other. Once that was all set, the interviewing began.

I do not want to drop any spoilers now, so I will let you all listen for yourselves. But one thing that I did find rather funny was the very pissed off, National Public Radio (a very liberal organization) engineer that was in the studio with me. She (and I am using that word losely) was not at all amused by what we had done to poor Adamu and The Leg. Every so oftern she would give me the daggar eyes and mumble something snotty under her breath.

Ira was a pleasant enough guy. Quite sharp and rather funny. I was rather impressed that the guy had read the entire bait. That must have taken him quite a while. He even had various parts of it printed out and ready to go for the show. These parts also included quotes from some of you guys as you read along and commented on the thread while the safari was in progress.

I have no idea how this will be edited, but it would not at all surprise me if we came off as total assholes. But again, I don't really care about that. I am an asshole, and proud to be one too.

I love the show. I think Ira Glass is pretty thorough and even handed. I think it'll be a great forum for telling your story, although you never know with such things.

Congrats on at even getting any air time, that speaks to the accomplishment of you bait(s)!
