Dick contacted the hotel manager on Saturday with the information regarding the MoneyGram he sent.

And from the airport in Rome, Emily dashed off a quick email so David knows she’s on her way. (BTW, I had to stay up until 11:00 so this would have the right time stamp.)

Oh, David, please tell me you’ll check your email after 7 p.m. tomorrow – no, today. I will tell you when my flight arrives in Lagos.

Yeah, right. A man who can’t pay his own hotel bill will just hop a plane to Rome. That makes a lot of sense.

The hotel manager had a bit of a problem with the MTCN.

He didn’t bother to respond to the hotel manager – after all, Emily was on her way there with $10,000.

Well, I may have overplayed my hand. Nothing from David last night or this morning. I know he has responded on Sundays before, so either he twigged or he just decided Emily was too high maintenance. If he had been well and truly hooked, he'd have done something by now. He'd have answered Dick and told him where Emily was.

To be honest, David had me so PO'd (Particularly Outraged), I didn't really care if he dropped me or not. So, figuring that I wasn't losing anything by it, I sent a very harsh letter from Dick.

David just can’t leave well enough alone. He suspects he’s been baited, but he doesn’t want to lose his scam if it’s real. So, he tried for some documentation from Dick. The subject was STOP ALL THIS GAME WITH ME GET REAL
