Lets see what everyone thinks.

this is in the sense of: Who can you get the most laughs out of, etc.

These I believe are the *MAIN* ones.

Post here for any that should be added.

Trunk lads by far - their modality is so outré to start with (special diamond cutters, wash-wash) that you can throw all kinds of weird sh** their way, and they won't even notice.

That's not to say you can't have fun with lotto lads, and romance has room for expansion, and NOK are always good for a laugh, but in my limited experience, I find that trunk lads are somewhere towards the bottom of the heap when it comes to brain cell count. But let's face it, it's difficult to get a trunk scam into a NOK or romance scam, but it's easy to work romance into a trunk or NOK scam (even if your character is male, he has a female secretary, right?), so you can double your fun with these. Trouble is, they don't turn up quite so often as the others.

Hmm. . . I don't think it works by type of scam. I think you have no idea from the intro script, what kind of lad is behind the scam. Some lads, regardless of their script, are just boring as hell. Some lads are fun to bait, also regardless of their script. I turned a lotto lad into a romance bait, and turned a dying widow into a 15+ month romance bait, church bait, etc.

I've baited a sengalese orphan who was hilarious in the way "she" wrote, and baited a ghanian orphan who was such a stupid beggar that I wanted to slap him.

So, I didn't vote. Wink

I am just trying to get the general sense. There will always be inconsistencies. So I cannot put in "Turning a lotto lad into romance, check lad into romance, etc. Wink

I said romance lads partly because that's where my exe\pertise (such as it is) lies. I've had a few chuckles from them, and I like the twists and turns a romance bait can take.

I'd have to go with the dying man/woman scams. They always only have a few days/weeks to live, yet they keep on kicking as long as they think they can get a dollar out of you. Occasionally they even forget they are dying.

Agree with Ima. It's pure luck whether you score a "fun" lad or not - the type of scam he's running is irrelevant. If you are asking which scams are the easiest to bait and therefore more entertaining then yes, NOK or trunkbox would probably top the list.

i have had some much fun with phone lads in the past and that option

like Ima has said,some lads are funny to bait and their responses crack you up but some are as boring as last weeks tv listings.

i think who is your favorite lad would be cool because some are real fun

Agreed - it's completely random.

Lotto Lads are usually deemed to be no fun, but I specialise in them and they can be hilarious if you find the right one.

You can't even tell which ones are likely to provide the best laughs from their opening script as often the dumbest opening script means that they will drop you the first time you ask them to do anything off script.

I've found that you find funny lads across all genres. I don't really do lotto/love baits (although I've tried). I just don't have the patience with them and find them about as funny as a funny thing that stopped being funny.

Phone lads are usually killed before you can develop a rapport. I like check lads because, for some reason, they get tetchy when you chop their dollar.

I agree with what Gnasher is saying, you don't know until you start with any given scammer as to whether he'll be funny just from his format, and one genre is not necessarily funnier than others.
I don't really bait for fun, but having said that I've baited mainly NOK types, and I have had a lot of fun with some of them. I bait some love scammers too, purely because of what they do to a victims' mind. I don't really find them fun at all, but I still do them purely out of spite and vengeance.

My funniest lad has been an Au Pair scammer and another favourite was a Barrister acting for a NOK.
I've never tried lotto lads, just the idea of it bores me to tears!

I like to take one format and turn it into another one. I generally start out with NOK, but it can end up anywhere, from romance to adoption to immigration...

^^That's a good point. If we determine that say NOK lads are usually the most fun to bait, all we'll have to do is answer every lad with something like "A few weeks ago, I received an email about a large inheritance, but I must have deleted it. Do you know anything about that?" Bingo, instant NOK lad. Wink

I love hitlads, especially when they get angry. Church baits are fun too, especially when your lad ends up streded far from home.

Yeh..I've had the most fun with hitlads. Just the idea of some knucklehead, miles and miles away trying to bully me out of money, and threatening me is laughable to me.

Currently I've had my most fun with a zebra scammer, an ASEM I sent that promised free money, a refugee letter, a fake bank fund, and a romance bait.

I will repeat what the others said-it's random and sometimes how much fun a lad is is directly involved with what you feel like doing.

I usually go for the Puppy scammers, they are usually smarter than your average NOK lad.
