I no that studio and its staff very well.
If you are not shore of any thing then in stead of moaning why not get up from your pc chair and go and check the studio out.
If you ring any studios in london, nearly every one takes a booking fee.
When you are a very large studio in london, everyone trys to book in, so not many dates and times are free.
The deposit is to make sure people call and ring if the cannot make the date and time, rather than not bother.
It is fully refunded once you have been to your appt.
most studios normally take card because it is shows that you have paid on your bank and theres and its easier to refund once been, when you have hundreds a day to do and trying to run a studio, you dont want to have to refund cheques, cash. via post office. Just extra work not needed to do. |

Split from this thread here (circa April, 2007).
@QUEENBEE - please don't "revive" long dormant threads. It clogs up the forums and often the original post has lost its relevancy or has otherwise been sorted.

Hi Queenbee.
I don't see anything wrong with that thread. Potential scams are constantly being brought to our attention. The original poster was asking about a transaction he was suspicious of, stating that he was looking into it further, and seeking opinions. It appears the issue fizzled without accusations. |
