AVG Free adivce needed

My daily update has failed.
It says there's a .bin file missing.
Any advice what I do next?

Running XP, using firefox as browser, also got spybot

Nanny, it looks like there's a few people with the same problem. There's a solution suggested here (scroll down to spenguin's post) but I have no idea whether it works.

It's a problem with the update itself being corrupted, according to a thread at AVG's forum:

I googled bin file which only told me about the file, Too late at night for my brain to work

ty, TS, but what's not to be chipper about? Thanks to this thread, I know what the problem is, that it's not huge and it's being worked on, that I'm in good company, and most importantly, that it's not my fault. Laughing

I tried AVG update this morning and it worked no problem.
I like eight's sentiment it's good to know you're not alone, that is was being worked on and most importantly
