It's possibly notable this recipe does not mention salt as an ingredient. A practical recipe for the confection can be found in Isaac Hayes' book, Cooking with Heart & Soul.

That's sad. I loved the theme from "Shaft." In the 70's I was a member of a champion skating club. We put on several skating shows for 3,000 to 4,000 people, and did a black light number to the "Shaft" theme.

The bit when he was in the car trying to sing Grazin' in the Grass in the car was excellent, as well as the part where he pretty much shot himself...and of course the part w/ Chris Rock...etc... Smile
