This isn't anything that we deal with here, but has anyone received anything like this? It came into my baiting account a little while ago.

If you know a William Hernandez, contact him and ask if he's applying for a job.
I'm always leery of clicking on sites that are in random emails. They all too often lead to phishing sites. I would tell William that as well. Perhaps there's another way to do it if he really does need your reference.
Besides, where would he have gotten your catcher email? |

I don't know anyone by that name, and even if I did, I wouldn't reveal my baiting account name.
It's probably phishing, and I won't click on it either. I have never seen this one, and I though that maybe someone else has. |

I'll look at the link if you PM it to me- it seems a very clumsy attempt to SE information; I'm thinking more spam to direct traffic to the site. |

A quick google of the website link reveals this feedback on a site listing job scams:
Quote: |
This is JUST ANOTHER batch by the SAME GROUP OF BOGUS JOB OFFERS and PHISHING EXPEDITION PUT UP BY Internet Solutions Corporation aka Ayman Ahmed El-Difrawi or Alex Simon
We know that Veriresume is ISC, they have attested to that in legal filings. We can show that The Career Network and Veriresume are closely linked through domain registrations. |
From another site:
Quote: |
If you send an email to them they send you to a site greatcareerpaths.com to fill out an 'application' -- google that address and you'll find lots of sites describing the scam -- basically they start spamming and telemarketing you based on the info you enter. |
McAfee also says this about the site:
Quote: |
Feedback from some users indicated this site engaged in one or more negative or undesired activities. |
