If the staff do let Alf on that shuttle bus, I'm sure after the bus breaks down somewhere, he'll escape and get drunk, and have to be hauled back to the camp. The next bus pickup, Parakou? Wink

This opens several possibilities, Alf gets drunk (sympathitic 5imba employee), for some reason they don't trust him away from camp, Alf may think he can catch the shuttle but 5imba has other ideas, change of shuttle timing for another important pick up. Alf no longer has any clout with 5imba.

Bus schedule changes may be an easy way to sync the Ihava and Alf pickups.

So much fun to watch this unfold.

@wanamaker - I suspect that our oponents may think Ihava is in contact with the other mr gomer (baiter/hacker). That would explain why they are refusing to deal with Ihava.

@wanamaker - All I can do is shrug my shoulders... I didn't expect that they would be so unresponsive to Ihava; sorry for the lame gig. I guess it may mean that the one lad in Nigeria is going to be the sole traveller & he is focusing on Alf. I think he may yet send another lad to you; if so, I would expect a response tomorrow.

Here we go! We could have a lad going to Yauonde airport. Sat is not a good day for me either I have a half hour @ 3PM Lagos time. (west coast). Not responding yet.

Some notes on Ihava flight options on Friday

There are no scheduled flights from Yaounde to Lagos (LOS) on Friday so Taxi it is with drivers who will rob her of some of the remaining cash and will have an accident rushing to the airport and miss both flights to Lagos.

^Yep, destination doesn't matter much especially since you could be connecting there. I mentioned an airport in Yaounde, but don't even know if there is one there. I'm sure you can sort all that out.
Ask for a picture? FYI - Alf sent one of Ihava lifting weights; it is in this thread somewhere. She is very big & blond.

Why does Ivana need to leave Cameroon at all? If it nets another lad safari, keep her around for awhile. I know this weekend is not good, so why not let them wait till Monday? You try the bank transfer thing, and it fails of course...details reported to you know who...then do the face to face again with Ivana. Let them wait till Monday for Alf, too, after the Friday meeting goes bust. This assumes that the lads stick around the area. This is exciting! I knew they would not give up so soon. Smile

Cameroon by plane from Lagos is still lad pain.Seems Mr Gomer has deep pockets. I think he doesnt want to believe he is a fool. Of course she wont be waiting. (for whatever reason) plenty of time for bank transfer next week.

Maybe she could have a last minute change of heart for whatever reason (if no lad comes tomorrow); maybe she wants to go back to the park to see her beloved monkeys some more or some other nonsense Also I had not thought of it but that is correct, the bank acct was reported to Mr. A.

It's like he is pre-setting himself up for miserable failure. Already we have a timing conflict & apparently the Boulevard is in the airport Question

. I never mentioned the airport... Only the Boulevard... But he is insisting on the airport.

So what now? I will not answer 'til tomorrow a.m.; by then it may be necessary for the lad to be travelling already in order to complete his trip (although IPs showed that he made it from Nigeria to Cameroon in about 5hrs last time). If I confirm that Saturday is OK then I lesten the plausibility of future logistics problems. If I don't, well, if I were the lad, I wouldn't go without the confirmation. Advice welcome.

Well Alf can make a plea for her to stay till next week.

Arnold could fly her around with him all weekend, spending her money, we know how much they love seeing thier money getting pissed away.

I still like the idea of them sending someone to Yaounde Friday, missing Ihava. She is unpredictable and they still have Alf.

Then she could be flown to the meeting.

I just wonder if they will twig after Sat? Nah!
