Last saturday my only remaining grandmother had a stroke. Right now she is in recovery in my city's hospital.
Her right half is paralyzed and we can barely understand what she says.
Apparently, the speech areas in her brain are affected too.
I noticed minor improvements in the past 2 days, and I hope for, at least, a partial recovery.
Although it pains me to see her in that state, I visited daily, knowing that it will improve her morale.
I am not a religious person and do not pray, but I HOPE for recovery. |

Well, gran is 78. Several years ago she had a mild stroke and recovered well. Back then she had only minor mobility problems.
Her speech is improved, but the mobility not yet.
Tomorrow we'll have the results of the catscan.
On the good side, she recognizes me, my mother (her daughter), and relatives that visited her, so it seems the memory is ok. |
