Wow. That article made me want to cry at times. How anyone could say they have a heart after doing some of the things to the family mentioned on the first page is beyond me. It's utterly disgusting how irreverent and disparaging people can be.

I have to add this... After finishing reading that i must say I find what they are doing fascinating. While what they are doing is terrible in pretty much every way I could possibly think of, it is nonetheless very interesting to read about. I had never realized that there was an entire subculture of trolls.
That Weev guy was probably the most intriguing, to be honest. The fact that he moves from place to place and keeps everything in offshore accounts proves that even he has something to fear.
It's just a shame how screwed up an outlook on life he has. |

Certain ex-members of this very site did much the same to Shiver after he kicked them off you breaking the rules.
Photochopped porno-pics, telephone calls to his wife, fake (bad) reviews on Amazon of his book (before it was even published!), threats, insults in the thousands, fake websites, slander, fake "Shiver confessions" at other websites, etc. etc.
It's still going on today, almost four - yes four!! - years after their being banned. These are grown people, some with jobs.
After dealing with our trolls, nothing in that artcile can surprise Shiver very much.

TBC: Regarding Weev... he could also simply have seen/read too many spy flicks/books. There's no real evidence to support his claims... and trolls love to screw with the traditional press.
I just love how they took some of the worst examples of internet trolling, and by not showing a typical troll's actions made it seem like that extreme is the norm. |

We have a good side and a bad side in all of us. Given a chance for anoniminity the bad side can come out and be real ugly for some people. People who do this are cowards. If you can't stand by your words and let people know that they are your words and actions then you are a coward. What they did to this family was horrible. Troll is too good of a word for them scum is more to my liking.
