Hi all

If this is a re-post, please feel free to delete. I searched in the "search" function and found nothing

Just go to
http://vital-desktop.sourceforge.net/

download and install

then, go to where you installed the program (usually C:/ Program files or something like that), open vitaldesktop folder.

double click "VDConfig". choose your screensaver you want to set, and you're done!

might i suggest our very own screensaver? (just put it into C:/system32)

now, to set a video as a desktop background:

you will first need a free FLV player. go here:

http://www.videolan.org/

now you just need to save a file as an mp4 (ipod) format

you then start the player and open the video. right click on the video and choose "wallpaper". then just minimize your player and your video will be on the background!

the quality isnt the best, but it will have to do...

i have a way better way to do it, but involves downloading some software from a friend of mine, so technically it's not legal and I can't post it.

if you want more info on this "illegal" download, just PM me happy crowd
