First of all I would like to say thank you for your email which actually did come as a surprise to me as we both know we have never met before. It also came as a surprise to me that that you were acquainted with my brother, Roger Lifen and his wife, Peaches Geldof-Lifen who along with 200 other people lost their lives when the plane they were traveling on from New York (America) to Cuntashite Village Airport (United Kingdom of Great England) tragically crashed into a cross channel ferry in the Indian Ocean on 21st February 2003. First of all welcome to 419Eater!

OK regrettably the lad you have written to will almost certainly ignore what you have read and all you will get back is part 2 of their script.

It's always better IMHO to start with a simple message along the lines of "This is interesting but sounds risky to me, can you give me more information". Once you have them firmly on the hook and thinking payday is around the corner you can start slapping them for an essay on the rules of whist or whatever.

Always remember never do more work than the lad!

Thanks for the advice, he probably will just ignore now thinking about it, I think I should play along with him for a little longer, in fact as long as possible, although I hope a seed has been planted. What I have found out is that the reaility of it always turns out different than it does in ones mind. I just hope those £ signs are sitting somewhere in the back of his mind.

Yeah, it's a funny read, but the lads only have one thing in mind when they email you. You have to get the lad off script and listening to you before you can really start with the nonsense -- well, you can start it any time you want, but if you want funny responses, then you need the lad in an attentive mode.

Don't forget, when you read Shiver's great baits, he was dealing with one lad out of a hundred (or more).
