Nup they wont tell you, the customer, or the normal departments about it. Usually whoever was dealing with the transaction will say there was a system error (because they cant access it) and they wont tell the customer about it unless they find substantial evidence to close the account or/and prosecute. With the other bodies, they do the same but when other parties apart from banks are involved, it gets a bit more serious.

I believe Alan is working on just that. He's interested in all the baiters emails they're exchanging with this creep to prove that he isn't really legitimate at all, so if you get a bank account, even if you know it's one that's been sent to Alan already, you should copy and paste the emails into ONE email only and send it to [email protected].

As for their location, they're asking my money to be sent via Moneygram and Western Union to Nigeria. I am certain these are two or more clever lads who need to be castrated, partially dismembered and then set afire and then the fire put out with a pickax (can you tell I don't like them much?). Dr. Melvin's minion, is handling my adoption and his IP resolves to an Israeli satellite. Still I know it's Nigeria. The sewer rat is using a proxy.

You won't get any IP addresses off of Melvin. He's using Google mail and they mask IP.

I know baiting is a fun hobby and pastime but I have to tell you all, you're doing such great work. As a former school teacher and also an adoptive parent, people who steal from charity, especially children's funds, need to be stopped.

I sent him an email saying I was mailing a check. I said in my emai that I was trying to phone him, and his number wasn't working.

His reply to me today:

Seriously, play dumb. I got the instructions for Moneygram from him. I didn't understand what that was. Then he switched to Western Union. I still didn't understand so I turned it over to my church pastor. He asked questions then I insisted on an escrow officer and chose one out of a Nigerian directory. His name was Ch4rl3s S0lud0. Eww, the lad didn't like that. It seems Ch4z has picked up his WU. Chopped his dolla. Now the lad has to find a better lawyer to act as my Nigerian agent. I'm sure he will. Evil or Very Mad

I am also planning a trip to Africa to bring all the money I'll need for the adoption and to meet my little angel. Unfortunately, I will probably get on the wrong plane. I do hope he'll meet me.

I've had the stock answers back, and my Trust may be interested in donating up to $250,000. However, I wonder how far he'll go towards claiming $250,000.

unfortunately the bastard seemed to drop me after i told him i had donated £4,000 through the website. I presume he thinks its unlikely i'll donate any more and, as he evidently has lots of "potential victims", he has decided not to bother with me and to move on to the others

Best of luck to all those who are still baiting the lad. I didnt waste too much of his time, but i'm sure the fact that i was prepared to give him £4,000 but acidentally gave it to the real charity will have annoyed him somewhat, so thats good enough for me on this occasion! Hope the rest of you annoy him even more and, in addition, manage to waste a lot of the guys time

I shot off a email to him this morning as my foundation loves to make very large donations to charitys up to 1.5 million dollars. I havent told him that part yet. I'm just going to get things started and work my way up to the size of donations that we give out. and of course there will be a "little" paper work involved. Twisted Evil

I think the 'new' addy to forward the bank details is That is where I have been sending mine from current baits and sometimes getting a response from, even if it is only automated.

You just can't help some people, whatever you try to do! It's exactly the same as trying to warn individual victims who don't want to know...totally obvious, yet they just can't/won't see it. Rolling Eyes

The good Doctor even gives a straight link to their site in every email -- potential donors are likely going to click through on that, and would see a warning if it were there!

He may be using an Internet cafe which is closed on weekends.

The real site may actually be benefiting from this scam, as people may click to the website and figure it is easier to donate right there than to send money WU. Hence it might appear to the charity not to be in their best interest to warn people? If they were really smart, they'd say something like, "If you came here as a result of an email you received, be warned that the email is a scam, but as long as you're here ... "

That would be a bit cynical of them...rather like letting the good Dr have a percentage for getting people to click thru! And wouldn't they be breaking the law by compounding a felony, or whatever the legal term is?

I've given up on sending him the money he has asked for. I'm bringing it to him instead. I asked him if $10K USD would be enough to complete the adoption. His reply:
