I know it is difficult to keep track of the characters in this bait because Willy is constantly introducing new people into his altered reality. One of the folks back home has told Aunt Mary that Willy has money and that Willy is returning to Ghana on Friday.

I have reason to believe that Willy is thinking seriously of pushing on to Fiona. He's so close now. The Reverend is supposed to talk to him tomorrow before he goes back to Accra. Willy has something he wants to talk about.

Don't let Jojo forget to talk to him.

It is obvious that David is unhappy that willy is not answering his phone. He knows Aunt Mary blabs everything she knows and that asking her to keep something secret is a recipe for disaster.

Good news. He is on his way to Maiduguri. This is good for a number of reasons. First, someone from home sent him money to go back home. WELL, he used it to get to Maiduguri. Secondly, we are not in Maiduguri. We are in the United States, laughing at him. Thirdly, since he wasted the money that his friend/brother/whatever sent him to get to Maiduguri, there is a much lower chance that he will be getting MORE money from them to get back. As he goes East, the cost gets higher for returning home.

Jojo pays scant attention to details. Willy's cousin, Nash, had a business associate in Abuja meet willy to give him money to come home. I believe he was given the money during this chat.

He is frantic during the beginnning of that chat, there was a long, long break and after that he was calmly reading world news. It was also at that point that he stopped answering calls from Nash.

I cannot believe how I have kept him on the hook with such ridiculous stories. Fiona has been pregnant over ten months. Now she has been in labor for almost a week.

You'd be surprised how many times in my baits I address the lads as the wrong mugu. Ask Prof, it has happened in every single one that we ever worked on together. Somehow, my charm just makes my lads overlook any mistypes.

^^ That's true. I've even seen him send mail to the lads addressed to the character supposedly writing it. I remember when we first started baiting together and he did that, I got nervous we'd lose the safari. Now, I'm just used to it happening now and then, and we have never lost a lad because of it.

I don't think either of us really pay attention to the details that the lads tell us. Well, that's not entirely true. We do like listening to all of the details these lads tell us about how bad their lives suck after meeting us.

@ RS - He's totally screwed if he goes East. I love the Aunt Mary character, and how she now gets used like the media by your lads. Funny stuff.

What I am finding very funny is that he absolutely refused to go to N'Djamena because it was something like 1200 miles from Accra. When he makes it to Maidugari, he will only be about 130 miles from N'Djamena.
