Hi i'm back from 2 years I was on this 419eaters until site went down,
when did this site comes back up cos i know it was down for awhile and what happened?

It's been up and running for a long time. We had some brief downtime during DDOS attacks but other than that, we have been here.

We have been here - we did not go down other than what I mentioned above. If you read posts around the forums, you will see that this site has been very active over the past two years that you weren't here. Smile

I'm not sure which particular threats you are talking about. I can assure you though (as any baiter will attest to) If we are not getting death threats or the like on a daily basis.... then quit e frankly we are not doing our jobs well enough. Laughing

As an aside, I think the one year anniversary of the DDOS siege is fast approaching.

DDOS, what happens is so many people go to the site that the server hosting the site can't handle all the requests. It's like going to McDonalds only to find out that it's closed for lack of foods because 5 pro basketball teams and all their fans have hit it all at once.

^^ except in our case, zombie machines were the primary source of attack. For Titania , that means that thousands of "robots" or "bots" were sending requests all at once which brought the site down. DDOS attacks are nasty.
