And the one about the USA invading Iran that I've had about 10 of at work. A lot of the ones with the sensationalist headlines are the storm trojan or a variation of, unfortunately a lot of people still fall for these.

I really like the text they throw into the email, trying to trick the spam filters into thinking there is actually content.

Here's one that amused me:

Please don't open the one about Clinton found hanged. Merely OPENING the email can apparently trigger the malware to attempt to download on some systems. It did on mine (luckily a junker computer, I wiped the hd & started over to be safe). I suspect it is a botnet attack, and the way our current election is going I wouldn't be surprised if one candidate intends to use it on the other Rolling Eyes

Wow, I must be pretty lucky. All I get is crap from women saying "Hi" in the title, and liking me to a porn site...and crap asking me to take surveys.

I would be gullible enough to open some of the ones with funny headlines though. Some of them are serious enough, though, to sound real. The ones about terrorist attacks. I'd probably open them immediately.

@KD - one of my co-workers loves opening spam and going to the websites. The ID10T has been known to purchase their crap from time to time. Rolling Eyes

After several conversations, I have given up entirely and make sure his PC is well protected. I am still waiting for him to receive a NOK or lotto scam so I can grab the popcorn, and watch the show!

I get the biggest laugh out of the ones advertising male "member" enhancements. Or "Boob" growers Laughing

Lately the biggest majority of the spam my email filters have been catching is the knockoff Cartier and Rolex watches.
