Some of you know me - I stick pretty much to the romancers. I hate them because they screw with the hearts, minds and emotions of lonely people. But I've found a scamming, scum-sucking, POS, rat-bastard lad that I hate far more than any romancer. This one exploits children and legitimate children's charities and victimizes people wanting to help and/or adopt foreign children.

I am baiting this vermin and he is slicker than whale snot. I would like to request the aid of other baiters to keep this douche bag busy in order to minimize his exposure to potential victims.

ActionAid.org is the site of a real charity, although they don't seem to be a particularly notable one.

Yes, he is posing to represent a real charity. That's partly what pisses me off. He's diverting money from people doing real charity work; stealing from real children.

I have contacted the charity and requested that they post a scam alert on their home page.

yep, the address is real but the phone number and fax are fake. Real email addresses at actionaid are [email protected]. I'll bet this guy could fool quite a few people though- hopefully a mass bait might slow him down a bit. I've sent off an initial email to him, lets see how he replies

NOTE: When this bastard gets back in touch with details on how to donate, you could always slow him down by asking the perfectly reasonable question "why wouldnt i just donate by going to http://www.actionaid.org.uk/100050/donate.html which is the ActionAid donation page?" I'm sure he'll have some reason ready but it will waste a bit of his time if he has to tell everyone why they shouldnt just donate via the website (if he says the donate feature on the website isnt working, just tell him that page also has an email address for donations, a postal address, and a phone number). It'll be interesting to see how he tries to get out of that one

Just dialled the Fax number and it was answered by an African-sounding male, with what sounded like children's voices in the background.

I didn't engage in conversation (still a newbie in dealing with spammers, though I remembered to withhold my number!), but it does seem to be live if anyone wants to have a go.

When I first read it I thought he was saying he was from an AIDs charity because of the name of the organization he's pretending to be a part of. If he was I would do everything in my power to make his life the shithole that hell will be. My bio-dad died from AIDs when I was two (got it from blood transfusions) so I don't take lightly to anyone using it as an excuse to screw another person over. But I read it wrong...

Nevertheless, using children is still mega-frakked up. And hiding behind a legit charity is even worse. He can expect some nice baiting from me in the future.

P.S. If anyone does ever see a scam email involving AIDs, please send it to me so I can tear the bastard to shreds.

For this butt-wipe lad, maybe someone should mention that his original email was posted on the Children's Aid Society forum or something so he doesn't twig at his sudden and nearly incredulous good fortune?

On the other hand the greedy bugger has probably been drooling all over his keyboard and will call in reinforcement lads. Who knows?
