My lad seems to have a textphone!

My lad asked me for my phone numebr and I went thru the standard deaf excuse and suggested a textphone - which he told me that he has - he sort of tripped me up on this but I did tell him that it was on the blink and needed replaced within 72 hours - the problem is where I shall go after that - besides, this lad will die of cancer within a few weeks and I need to adopt his son Aziz by then! Wink

Any advice as to where I shall go on this?

99% likely he doesn't have a textphone but has just misunderstood your question (in my experience, he probably thinks you mean SMS/text messaging). If you have a number you can give him (K7 for example), ask him to call it with his textphone. if it goes to voice mail this is a sign his textphone is not configured correctly. You can also ask him about the brand and model number of his textphone.

I'm guessing he thinks he can txt you on his phone (or he is BS'ing you)-send him an image of one of these

and check that is what he has, model compatibility is very important

I'll just him my lad with my k7 account. It is a good feeling to know that I'll at least be costing him some money with the long distance charges.
