I searched for a thread on this but i cant seem to find it. i also went around the website searching. i know i didn't search hard enough but im asking anyway...

what are the stars, badges, flags, and pith helmets for? how do i rightfully put them in my sig?

As JMR said, the Pretty Prancing Pink Pony is the ONLY sig Icon to have. They don't come easily though and are guarded carefully by their master.

I'm not sure what is going on around here, I'm starting to wonder if everyone has gone soft.

In days gone by and innocent question (even after using the search function) would have resulted in "SCAMMER CAPITOLS" READ THE STICKIES or USE THE SEARCH BUTTON.

THE PONY: Awarded to members who can either prove that they've seen a live unicorn, or to those who have successfully "deflowered" a lad by baiting him. It's never pretty.

THE BUTT: That is actually my butt, from when I worked at Chippendales. It's awarded to members who perform a pole-dance for the mods. Marks are given for originality and clever use of props.

THE SKULLS: You won't see many of these, because they're awarded to those who have actually baited their lads to death. In lieu of a Certificate of Deadstock, the lad's eyes may be submitted as proof.

THE ROSE: Something aboot a Barbara Streisand or Bette Midler performance or something. I was either sick or drunk in class that day - sorry I don't remember more.

THE RACING CAR: To get this icon, members need to either have a Corvette (or suitable surgical implant[s] ), or prove that they have actually baited Vin Diesel. Yes, photos are required.

where do i go to find all the flags and stuff? i only saw a couple.

If you want to see all the flags available, when you make a new post or reply, go over to the left where all the emoticons are, then click on "view more emoticons" and you'll see all the flags, pith helmets, etc. that Eater has currently coded for use.

thanks. also, since we are already off topic, how do you find out if the scammer really went off on a safari? couldn't he just say "i went"?

We usually rely upon IP addresses. So if he sends you an email with an IP address originating from Nigeria, and then the next day, he sends you an email saying "I'm here." and the IP shows Ghana -- it's a Safari.

There can be other ways to prove it as well, but the above works for 85%.
