I was surfing the 419eater videos. And I ofcourse found the "tragedy at western union" one. After I stopped rolling around laughing I thought of a great idea if I can get it.

Taking sounds from war games.

Those are ingame screen shots. So maybe even video? I don't know how well the lads can spot graphics like that. Very Happy

I've got a link set up to www.sounddogs.com
in particular to the sound of an automatic pistol being fired, ready for when I next speak to Dan.
It helps to have a second computer available with the sounds on it to save having to mess around with the volume settings.
That way I can get a really loud 'BANG!' from the gunfire track at the appropriate moment.
I've also got MS Flight Simulator to give background noise for airport and in flight sounds to give the impression I'm either a pilot or on an aircraft.

Great to have sound effects but you need a story. You are excited about withdrawing $10,000, or you just cashed the fake check for $5,000 that he sent you. You call the lad. Half way through the details, you think someone is trying to break in. Gunfire erupts as you blast the guy. You tell him that you have been followed from the bank. You get real quiet as you tell him you think someone else is in the house. Some muffled noises and more gun fire before you hang up. Record it and let us hear. Laughing

Um, only the first 15 seconds of it. It seemed to be some first person shooter game. Been there, done that, got the tee-shirt and it hurts my eyes. I'm addicted to baiting so I have no time for online gaming.
