yeah its not out yet in the US....

i hate comic book movies, they all suck besides the original batman! I must admit this one looks closer to the roots of a true comic book movie... dark and violent.. not a chick flick like Spiderman, hulk, fantastic 4, etc..

^^ I agree buttock I actually like all of them but batman is my favorite because it's not really kid oriented. Batman begins looks good though. The Tim Burton ones are good. But the penguin one creeps me out with Catwoman and all Confused

Iron Man was excellent and certainly not a "chick flick."

I also thought that Batman Begins was quite good, and I will be seeing this one when it's released on the 25th of this month. Smile

I think this one is going to be the biggest of the year, people who do not even like batman or comic book movies are going to see this because of Heath Ledger, being his last film and all.

No doubt it will be big.

I hear Heath Ledger gave a phenomenal performance in the film. It will be somewhat bittersweet to see him in it, though.

^^^ Well from what I heard he deprived himself of sleep to make himself rather nutty for the role. Good method, but he ended up not being able to sleep hence the sleeping pills

It may be a tragedy, but I've just plain had it with super-hero movies! There have just been too many - Batzman, Spiderman, Ironman, Xmen, Hulk, that other Hulk, Batzman Begins, Batzman Begins Again, Duck Dodgers... it's getting so a guy can't wear interesting tights and a cape without getting a movie gig nowadays.

Nope, I'm passing on this one. In fact only one super-hero will get me out to the theatres these days: Wonder Woman! (and not if it's Jess Simpson)

I am agreeing with Akai, Ironman was definitely not a chick flick. I don't know how you think Spiderman was either, as it was very true to the comic book. The same goes with the Fantastic Four, the comic book is campy. As for the Incredible Hulk are you talking about the p.o.s. that was released a few years ago or the new one. The new one is much better and I don't see how you can call a movie with a 30 minute fight scene between Abomination and Hulk a chick flick.

Do you actually remember the comic book movies that were produced before this new wave? Shall I remind you of The Punisher movie staring Dolf Lundgren?

@akai Yeah I did not like batman begins...I just miss how dark the original batman was... everyone could enjoy it, especially since it was one of the best Jack Nicholson movies ever! I couldn't see anyone play a better joker than him!

@ook I somewhat agree, and yes I'm talking about all the new wave comic book movies, they all are just targeted towards little 5 year olds. Ok, maybe it's not a chick flick but a cheesy G family movie, especially spider man.. Also I couldn't talk about Ironman, by the time it came out.. I already had enough of comic book movies. So no, I did not see it.
