Hello everyone, 
I was a victim of an Internet fraud two years ago; the scammers hacked into my bank account and stole $AUD4,785.00.
The bank that I was with at the time [I left them after this incident  ], didn't even consider it to be fraud, until I had proven to them that I did not authorise the transaction.
They virtually accused me of attempting to defraud them!
The matter still continues today, as I am in the midst of taking the bank to through the Courts in an endeavour to recover my lost funds.
Isn't it amazing that financial institutions claim to have 'bulletproof' security systems in operation; yet they were not even aware of this scam until I told them!
Upon further investigation, it was found out that the scammers had hacked some 20 odd accounts with this particular bank, yet the bank still refuses to admit that their security system is still seriously flawed.
(They have not changed it either.)
I have posted yet another scam (under miscellaneous Scams); this time claiming to be from Spain, but check the email header and it'll tell you that he is from France!

Welcome chauffeur. Sorry to hear about your loss, but hopefully your time at Eater will permit you a small amount of revenge and satisfaction.
As for headers -- as you'll quickly see, the shock is not that the lads lie about where they're from -- the shock would be if they didn't.  |
