My lad filled out a five page scholarship form (that I drafted with help from another Eater), by hand, scanned it, and sent it in. Complete with thumb print! I totally expected him/her to flake out on me but s/he did it. Smile

This is my first ever bait and I can't believe I've got a form filled out.

Er... now what? I have to admit, I am feeling some pangs of guilt... I know, I know, these people are criminals, but they seem so sincere! Maybe I should just to the WU and...

*slaps self* Snap out of it, girl.

Really, though... now that I have the scholarship form, should I start the fake payment stage?

Are you sure he answered all of the questions, all correctly, and strictly according to the guidelines? I have my doubts...

Don't forget to post it (pics no more than 600 pixels wide) down in the photos forum, experts will have a look for you to make sure that it correctly completed.

He filled the forms using black ink and it should have been BLUE!

Now that he has submitted the 5 page general application form it is time for him to pick a specialty that he would like to submit in order to gain full scholarship funding.

Some options are the Larry Kravtiz Institute for Advanced Reading, the "Feet Across the World" Humane Award, and the Bruce Banner Science Award (for exceptional merit).

Or/also you can tell your lad that now that he's submitted the scholarship application, he must submit a simple personality questionnaire to determine if he is mentally fit enough to handle the funds.

Before you move on a stage, she/he will need to re-do the form.
Page 2 requires correct format answers to the following:

Circumference of head (if questioned why needed - how else can the proper Mortar Board be ordered?)

Length of Fingers and thumbs. You need measurement in cms or inches not a percentage.

Eyesight must be a accurate measurement otherwise how can you assess her ability to participate in classes?

I would also ask for more information about her heroine Mrs Kone.

Page 4 asks for drawings not a written statement. And was that really acceptable as a poem? A vogon could do better than that!

Give her one last chance to get it right and then you can start with other forms. You will need a forms for the release of money, declarations for Income Tax and other Government bodies.

The form definitely needs to be re-done for the reasons already described. After a satisfactory application is completed, tell her a new scholarship form has just been released and the old one is no longer accepted. Too bad it took her so long to complete the first one and a new application needs to be submitted. Finally, she's approved for the scholarship and receives an official letter. Whew! Including a monthly cash allowance as part of the scholarship often sweetens the deal. Ask if she needs an advance on the allowance to cover any associated expenses. There's forms necessary for that to occur, rules about receipts, etc..

Proof of not being a terrorist or sympathizer is a must. Sending money to a terrorist is a bad thing, right? Needing pictures for the files and/or identification card are possibilities. Of course, the first ones will not be correct. Every time it seems money is about to be sent, there is another form or an issue requiring correction. Finally, when things are perfect, off to WU she goes.

Oh wow, all those ideas are so awesome. I am so scared that I'll ask too much and scare her away, though. Does that often happen, or are they usually pretty compliant by this point?
