Have had 2 characters playing him, in each case he broke off communication when the money wasn't forthcoming like he wanted. In the most recent case, his daughter was in hospital in Belgium, he said he was going back to the UK and wanted money WU over there. Naturally, my character thought why was he leaving his daughter alone in Belgium, so she fired up her Boeing 767 aircraft and headed over there. She sees him in online chat, all he does is demand the transfer number (she sent the money, but didn't send him any numbers, just rushed over to Belgium). She kept asking where his daughter is, he kept asking her for the control number, and then he signed off in a huff, accusing her of playing with him.

Any ideas on how the next character should handle him? I think the next one is going to be much less wealthy, it's sort of suspicious that all these women have their own planes and huge ships (ship is too big to fit through the Panama Canal). I guess his modus operandi is to get to the money pretty quick, and then bail if the money isn't forthcoming. Any ideas for stringing him along?

Anyway, if I can keep him from chatting, or make him change the ID he uses, that will do some good, maybe a real victim will get suspicious about why he changed his ID.

Anybody want him? Maybe a more experienced baiter can handle him better.

It sounds like you are doing just fine as it is!

Running multiple characters is quite entertaining, and you seem to have managed that OK.

It might be a good idea to try and make a new character with a lottery win of say $200,000 just enough for a greedy little toe rag to get excited over. Make the character probably about late 30's and single, and no real aspirations to a jet set life style...maybe working as an accounts clerk or something like that...then once the bait is set get ready to wash, rinse, spin and repeat as often as you feel is necessary!!

Love scammers would scam an old lady out of her tiny pension check. I'm afraid they'd suspect they're being teased if I went over the top with my 'wealth' to start out.

The way I've found to keep them on the hook longer is to start out unemployed or a poor working gal living paycheck to paycheck. If they jump right in asking for money, I play them with, "I don't know you that well." If they jump right in with being in love, I tell them I need time to get over a previously broken heart and urge them to let me get to know them better.

I saw him online this morning and asked him what was going on, he said he didn't want to talk to me because I lied and he hates lies! I went on a bit about how I hunted in hospitals all over Belgium for his daughter, but they quite rightly wouldn't tell me anything, and he logged off.

If I can keep chasing him off of Yahoo Messenger, I consider that a worthwhile contribution.

I didn't roll out the new character yet, but will follow your suggestions and start out of moderate means and then introduce a small lottery win at the appropriate juncture

Yeah I am working a couple lads right now that are tech savvy and lazy..

I just multi bait them with different baits that are not related. My hope is to fill their inbox with just my characters. I also usually try to bring money up first in all my baits... if it is I don't have any, or I feel real bad for you and want to finance you i find that they get hooked longer.
