I had a phone call from him about half an hour ago.

Lucky I took the extra security precaution of putting my phone number in my email sig. Wink

Nothing but incoherent lad babble. Do assassins really need to swear so much? Rolling Eyes

I was at the shops so couldn't get into much of a debate with him.

He sounds one arrogant, angry 'a' hole though.

Even though I told him earlier today that I'd sent off $3000 via WU. He's lost the plot.

i told him I took a shot at one of his boys last night but missed.He mailed me back saying he has told his boys to leave me alone so I can go to the Moneygram store.Thoughtful of him I must say.

Just got bank details from him on one of my other character's accounts. The bank is:

Odd looking Code Sweft : He must have meant Swift code. Looking at http://www.swift.com/bsl/search.do it does not appear to be valid. Tell him your payment bounced because the Swift code is unknown Very Happy

Edited to add: Have you ever seen a bank account with 'Madam' or 'Mister' in the name? Laughing

dutch, I'm showing that the swift sogebjbj is legitimate and traces back to the bank he named. I got the same one with account # 30057650101xx (x'd out the last two digits).

If that's your account number it has already been sent on.

You're right, I inserted the code containing the spaces, when you leave them out it shows SOCIETE GENERALE DE BANQUES AU BENIN. My bad.

If everyone who has already got the banking info off to Alan wants to go in on this, I have a plan to chop this lad's dolla.

I tried the lawyer character telling the lad we could make a deal, what I can do is have each of your characters refuse to make the payment because they were told by my lawyer that the lad was fake, or whatever else you guys come up with for a plot.

^^ the fact that the bank account is 'legit' doesn't mean you can't still tell him there's a problem with this account and ask him to give you a different one. Toasting accounts as many as possible before chopping his dolla would be even a better outcome .. Laughing

^^^That is what we send accounts to Alan for. He takes care of that.

@dutch. Forgot about that, if he gives us more, then we'll send them to Alan. If that's all he will give, then we can dolla chop him when we're ready.

@mc : sure .. but I doubt if you will get to see his real account. They usually use money mules (people that replied to a 'job offer' and have their bank accounts abused to redirect the payments) or phished bank accounts to transfer it... The only thing we can do is reporting all accounts that relate to a scam to Alan. He, and the banks will sort it out.

@SSA : Personally I would save the dolla chop till later. It basically ends your bait most of the time. Try a few accounts, then switch to Moneygram, and WU, MTCN S3cur3, more bank accounts, a lot of emails to extend the fun (and damage) Twisted Evil

I'll send it as soon as I've created it. He hasn't responded to another bait for about 24 hours, and has totally ignored another.
