Listen, i'm not saying it's ok to send them money, ITS NEVER EVER EVER OK to send a lad money, EVER.

What i'm merely trying to say is that this is possibly the best safari/bait this site has seen (to my knowledge, and what i've been told) and it would be such a shame if it ended like this, when it could be so easily solved and reversed....

Anyways, i'm just saying, there are a few ways to get them back onto the computer, but this is the BEST way I can see from my eyes, I understand I am still new to this but I mean, this bait is amazing and we really should consider EVERY option before its to late...

Think back in a few months and I bet everyone here will be thinking the same time (if we loose it), that we really could have kept it going a bit longer by thinking outside the typical baiter box... if you guys get what I mean...

Keep up the good work, and please give us an update on whats going on.

Never in a bazillion years would we ever consider sending these lads even a penny. It really sucks that we can't hear from them or get any messages across without the phone, but whatever. Look at the reasons why? We had said from the very beginning that we fully expected them to fall off the map at some point. We knew where we were sending them, and this is exactly what we were hoping for (minus the jail cells). We were continually amazed at how resourceful they managed to be. These cockroaches have survived a lot, and for about 9 weeks of it they managed to stay in touch. Well done, scumbags.

We're doing our best to find ways to kick this bait back into action. None of us want this to be over either. We had a productive chat yesterday about some strategy to get ND off of his ass, so we'll see how that pans out. But yeah, sadly it looks like the boys are now just another couple refugees in Abeche that will be spending days dodging rebel gunfire rather than running 419 scams in a cafe.

Well, is it possible they got killed by rebels, its just come to my attention that Abeche has been taken over by the rebels as well..

Well said. The sad thing is that most of those refugees are far more deserving of any aid that's going than stinky and the leg are Evil or Very Mad

Somewhere - damned if I'm going back through that lot << - is a reference to them giving up scamming and turning into good guys. IF this is now thought to be a bad idea, how about letting ND know they were only saying that because they thought someone was reading their emails, so they had to lie.. in fact they are due to meet xyz but need money and logistical help from ND. Just my $.02

I don't think they are dead, they are just broke. It has been about 3 weeks since I spoke with Adamu. He was alive, but not well. Be assured, these lads are going to be there for a while. Laughing

All guys. Well, at least now that Prof's operation is finished.

But yes, the bait may be sort of ending in one sense. That is, that we are not emailing so much anymore. HOWEVER, they are still in Chad. They are clearly not leaving.

We are still doing everything we can in order to get ND moving and get things stirred up. Stay tuned my friends.

EDIT: Today is their 80th day since they left home. I guess the first milestone will be to get them there 100 days.

Would it not make sense that for security reasons the government commanders may have shut down internet access so that information can not be transmitted to the rebels via that medium. That would leave Stinky even more frustrated as they will have lost all contact with the outside world.
Given the danger don't you think that Dover would want to get Scooby out on a mercy flight and. of course, be forced to give up looking for Stinky amidst all that confusion. I'm sure that Stinky would appreciate that Scooby's safety and well being comes ahead of everything at a time like this.
Then when he finally gets internet access again he can see that Dover made that choice and left him streded. Twisted Evil
