I was wondering what else you's do with your time besides scambait ...
I personally like geology, mineralogy, gemonology , and paleontology ( Dirty hobbies, I know. )

I have been known to go on fossil digs during the summers, and when I have some spare time and cash, drive around the country going to "pay dig" sites ...
Was a member of GPAA for a couple years, but dropped 'em when I gotten fed up of no support on the eastern 1/4 of the US.
If a lad ever sends me a trunk with $20,000,000 in it, I'll go out west and prospect for minerals, meteorites, surface gems, and gold. Laughing

My other minor hobbies include coin collecting ( mint errors, pennies before 1940, nickels before 1950, (dimes, quarters, 1/2 dollars before 1960), and others )) , hyper inflation money ( $5,000,000,000 DM bill anyone? ) , any US stamps $0.32 or less, and animation cels.

Though I have not bought any cels in over 3 years (they are expensive ), I still maintain my collection of over 80 cels

I am a keen 'Black powder' shooter, but also have some shotguns, I have obtained my APAD here which now allows me auto/semi-auto weapons.

Apart from that, I am writing Tolstoy's War and peace on the back of a postage stamp.. That should keep me busy.

I ride my horse and occasionally help people to train their horses using natural horsemanship techniques. I have a couple of ponies as well who I show and do carriage driving with (just local stuff for fun, nothing serious).

And when not doing that I fly light aeroplanes (have a part share in a PA28 Turbo Arrow) and muck about on musical instruments, keyboards, bass and harp mainly.

I took up scambaiting as a hobby so I would have something to do on the train during my daily commute to work Smile

@packman - My boss owns a Columbia (Now Cessna) 400 - This is by far my favorite plane to fly. Otherwise mainly 172's and the like.

Thats cool, I had a friend with a vintage piper cub that he was going to teach me to fly, but I ended up moving and never got a chance.

^^Wifie bought me a lesson in a Piper for my 40th. Pilot took us up to around 2000ft & then handed the controls over to me. One of the most fantastic experiences I've ever had. Airfield was just a couple of miles from Mother in Law's house. Resisted the temptation to dive bomb...

My hobbies - role-playing (live and tabletop - not online), military and medieval history, and trying to write fiction (it's not that easy I've found).
