I was forced to wear size 11's for 2 weeks at work ( borrowed from roommate, because couldn't buy new pair for work) ... I normally wear a size 13 ( yes I have big feet, lol )
The pain and damage it done to my poor feet is bad. I ended up pulling off my right big toenail because of infection, and I know with in a week 3 more nails need removed because of same thing - infection under the nail.
Well it's off to the Wal-Mart for shoes that actually fit me today  |

but you must admit you were a bit of a numpty knowing the shoes were too wee.
Thought the USA would have had bigger sizes readily available .
I know its hard in the UK to get suitable shoes in bigger sizes but there's a few website out there ( Cloggs being one )
My elder son is Uk size 13 ( think thats 14 US ) and the younger now gone up to Uk size 11 and he's still growing  |

Feet seem awfully tough, but in reality they are delicate and sensitive instruments. I know this because I broke one of mine, and it will never fully recover.
You needed these shoes for work, but the boss wouldn't help you get them? Sounds like a lawsuit to me! Fortunately I know a number of barristers. Hold on, I'll get the name of one or two for you... |

Special kind of shoe ... had to be a certain color and style ... not very cheap ether  |

My elder son has a part time job in one of the Uks bigger supermarkets. he was given two shirts when he started.
They've now been washed so often that they're see through.
he asked for some more to be told it would be £5 for each! To wear the company logo?
Got him some nice white ones from Tesco at £6 for 2.
he also has to wear smart black trousers and black shoes supplied by himself |

It is bad enough wearing shoes just half a size too small! how could you walk?!
Um, hope you feel better soon. I smashed up one of my toes as a 10-year-old (we had a bath with an angled end, and I slid down it like a water slide, the bath was only normal size and after a few fun times, crash, crunch, yeaaarrrggghhhh!) the toe is now fine and the nail grew back okay...
Several of my friends have had toe infections and it is surprising how common and painful they are. |
