Personally I'm still hunting for the "Hint of Blue" I discovered at the supermarket deli (bit of an oxymoron but so am I) a few months ago and haven't found since. Was rather yummy and came in a gold wrapper but i can't even google it   |

I got some "Coastal Rugged Mature English Cheddar Cheese" at the Costco today. It is like no other cheese I've ever had in my life. The calcium has crystallized and makes the texture completely unique. Its only 15 months old. |

it was called something like `farmer pyranees` it was ace !

Corona's Cheesy Potatoes
4 or 5 pot peeled and sliced
1 tablespoon flour
3 or 4 cups of shredded cheese (I use sharp cheddar)
salt and pepper to taste
1 to 1 1/2 cups milk????
6 dots of butter
I use a long casserole dish like you would make lasagna in. Spray with cooking spray. Layer potato, cheese, salt, pepper, flour and then repeat everything but flour. That will be in the middle and it mixes with milk and thickens it. Dot with butter and pour milk over top. I never measure the milk, I pour it in until it is half way up the potatoes. 
Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until brown on top at 350degrees.
Edit to change the name because they are not truly Scallop Potatoes, they are Cheesy Potatoes. Also, I never measure anything for this, I am just guessing.  |
