I got curious about this myself, and found this:

The notes are colorful and interesting, and Uncle Chuck's facsimile signature is on the front.
The backs have various depictions.
Unfortunately, the depictions do not inlcude lads in the cyber cafe; lads at the WU office, the oga driving around in his car, etc.. |

Yes our US notes are boring.... I love South African notes and also find the Australian money rather pretty

I collect foreign banknotes, and the notes of Mexico are also beautiful.
We used to have artistic designs back in the 1890s, but that went by the wayside.  |

I wonder if that is supposed to mean something.

I've got some Tibetan bank notes that look as if they have been produced using wooden printing blocks, not that old (maybe 50-70 years).
Maybe they're Tibetan loo paper - who can tell ?
I found one like it - phewwww, and I was even right about the age.

Yes, US money has to be the among most boring in the world. A real pain for us long-sighted people who have to peer at all those green notes trying to work out if they're Georges or Benjamins.....
