Do lads always take the weekends off?

For the past month or so, I've been baiting a number of lads, and their activity severely plummets during the weekends. Is this SOP for the lads, or have I just happened to hook a few that don't work weekends?

A lot of them do, yeah. Remember, lads are /lazy/, and they won't do any more work than they absolutely have to for the payoff. Some of them actually go to church on Sundays, for rather lengthy services, and the rest just laze about on the weekends. Internet cafes have shorter hours on the weekends, I imagine, but overall, yeah, most lads are simply lazy. That's why they do the 'job' that they do.

I've noticed the drop-off in activity as well. In a way, that's a good thing.

It means that I can take the weekends off from them as well, and not lose my baits. Laughing

I think a lot of lads are quiet on weekends, but definitely not all. I've baited a few who were active seven days per week. I guess they are the "workaholics". Laughing

One of my goals early on was to try and make them work weekends. Maybe send them a form on Friday and say I need it back by Monday to guarantee the donation.... or something like that. Smile

It'll depend on a number of factors. If, for example, your lad has his own computer at his own place, and if you are well into a bait where he thinks payday is imminent, then you'll get replies 24/7 including Sundays.

In most cases though, lads take Sunday off at least. As mentioned above, they are religious and it's the sabbath, therefore they go to church and ensure that no "work" is done that day. They do view it as a job after all, and often ask for God's help in the success of their "business".
Many lads also take Saturday off, because just like anyone else, they like to hang out with their friends, knock back a few bottles of hooch, see their woman etc. They may pop into the cafe for an hour in the morning to clear up loose ends, so you get the odd email on Saturday mornings.

In short, yes it's common for lads to go quiet at the weekend. And as Barry said, that's a good thing as it takes the pressure off you, the baiter, and allows you to mentally regroup and chill out.

I INSIST they work on Sunday's... Otherwise they wouldn't get their voices heard!

Although, they are not often in the internet cafe when i call them on Sunday, just out with their wife, or mistress, or walking their goats....

But, they will usually pick up the phone, and if you promise to send something by email which means they can get money on a monday, they will often ditch their wives, mistresses or goats and dash down to the cafe...

I believe Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings are the only time I have available to send WU transfers.

If this happens, it will be have the least effort to results ratio I have ever put into a bait so far. Man, this guy is really wasting his weekend on me.

Things do slow down a bit on the weekend but one of my lotto lad has been calling me on the phone about 20 times today alone. Ive answered 4 times and we've talked for 15 minutes in total (today) and exchanged a few emails too. He promised to ring me tomorrow again, I can hardly wait Twisted Evil

Anyway, for those of you who get bored on the weekends I recommend picking up a few love lads, most of them work seven days per week.

UK lotto lads went from a trickle to a deluge.
Most are pretty lazy about it, but I'm still holding a race/competition, unbeknown to them. The ones that don't go far or don't even try get their invite recycled to another... I'm sure it's gonna be pretty messy!

Skype is a wonderful way to encourage a more active work ethic in your lads. I love to call them every 45 minutes during their local night and hang up when they answer. Keeps them on their toes, and out of their beds. Of course, I keep it up at random hours of the day as well, so that they eventually turn off their phones in order to work even harder... Cool

That's an awesome tip from Jen there... it's well worth your 5 cents worth of skype credit to give them a bell at 2AM Lagos time.

I've previously waxed lyrical about wasting your lad's credit and not spending your own money, but a few cents or pence here and there, spent right, can really p**s your lad off.

It works best for US / Canada / Asia baiters. UK time zones unfortunately line up fairly well with lad office hours. Crying or Very sad
