As he no longer is with the driver then he doesnt need 3x$1000 anymore he only needs enough to continue his journey to Adre. Maybe he should inform TWAT of the actual cost and mode of transport to get there and then perhaps a revised MG can be sent. It will of course be a more minimal sum and certainly not enough to help him do anything other than continue to Adre Very Happy

Did you�all end the idea of pushing to Sudan altogether? If he's got money for internet & the driver problem has magically disappeared, he might manage moving further, perhaps. I have a (newb) idea that may get him there (?), or may be silly. Embarassed

Okay, so I talked to the Hand just a few minutes ago. I started off with Emeka. He was hard to understand. So, I started talking to his friend. He was a bit better.

The driver is in Abeche still. I cannot believe it, but they lied to us. Something happened and they could not get the MG. Hopefully, by tomorrow I can call and talk to Adamu.

I just listened to that call twice and am sure the the drivers side kick said "adamu is sleeping in the market square in Ndjamena then said Abeche Abeche.

Later on towards the end of the call he said they were stranded in Ndjamena then corrected himself - at least thats what Im hearing

EDITED TO CLARIFY: The LADS are in Abeche. Whether or not the Hand is, I cannot tell you. The two guys that I spoke with are not Adamu. Emeka (the Hand) was the first one. Supposedly, if I call tomorrow at 2 PM, I can speak with Adamu. I guess that would tell me where he is if I can talk to him.
