New eBay scammer(s) (spoofing existing sellers)

I wasn't sure whether to originally post this here, in the surplus box, or in the mass insult thread!

A particular eBay scammer has raised my ire of late, using the email address: [email protected] .

This scammer has been spoofing accounts of existing eBay sellers with high feedback, faking auction listings (sometimes of unique items, which contradicts his/her claims later on of the availability of multiple items!) and then, in the listing, using a standard graphic requesting that bidders contact him "befoare" bidding through his personal email rather than via the eBay "ask seller a question" button.

Yes, I have reported all of these auctions to eBay, and I have also used the "ask seller a question" to alert the sellers themselves that their accounts are being faked. So I suspect his email account won't last long, but the wheels of justice grind slowly.

In the meantime, some of you might like to contact [email protected] and express your interest in purchase of a computer (he seems to have a lot of laptops at the moment for around $10,000US!)

I recommend having gmail shut down that address. At the least it will waste his time having to make a new image Smile
