You guys have been doing excellent work at what I have only fumbled with for a year or so. If I only knew about you earlier!
I got into this after selling several cars on craigslist in the U.S. The 1st scammer that approached me was to purchase a trailer (for $700) and ship it from the Port of New Orleans to Nigeria. Of course they were willing to pay a little "extra" to help with shipping, etc. Good natured and naive, I actually tried to talk the poor man out of this purchase as it would not be cost effective, but they were relentless until I fortunately wised up and before being scammed.Since then I've had offers of $6,000 for a 1987 Nissan (the posting was my misprint) and I am so offended by these bastards Ihave kept boilerplate reply forms to tie them up when I can. My thinking is when they're emailing me, they are not scamming someone else.
But I have been very novice and I am now in awe of the crafty ruses that have been woven here. I want to learn some new tips and share what I can. I do graphic arts and hope to use my skills to torment these predators for the good of mankind.

You found the right place to start dealing out some serious punishment to these parasites. As the litany goes, read the stickies, ask for a mentor, and have fun! Oh yeah, and kiss your free time goodbye. This is a very addictive little hobby....

welcome MrJimmy! I believe there are so many people out there that "scam bait" without really knowing what it is, until they find the Eater! Sounds like you have found your natural home, so welcome and I look forward to reading about some of your first baits!

Help you ? - about the only thing we don't do is deliver them trussed up on your doorstep for you to give them a good kicking - but we're working on it. Very Happy

There are a million ways to play your baits and an equal number of tactics, tools and tips to put into play. Most baiters will share their 'secret' methods and devious tactics without a second thought. The ideas start off simple and develop a complexity that would confound a college professor, but all you really need is a pc and a properly set up mail account.

Welcome to the wild and wacky world of baiting. Lads will do anything to scam my money - but not risk a swarm of African Killer Bees it appears, but I'm working on it. Very Happy
