Perhaps this may sound cold and inhuman, but I certainly hope so. Especially the hit man scammers.

Man, have we tried. I think the closest that probably ever happened were from some lads that YW sent on safari. They just went off the map and were never heard from again.

A couple of years ago, one of our members baited a couple of scammers into traveling from Nigeria to Chad, where they promptly disappeared. Whether they ever reappeared is unknown.

This may sound a bit harsh, but many of the long term baiters aspire to that. The first AA419 flashmob was dedicated to some poor bugger taken to the cleaners by lads who killed himself [See BB's post for the correct details and a link]. Scammers have taken cash from the desperate and the needy. Try and look for the numerous 'how low will they go' threads and you will find lads urging baiters to send them cash rather use the money for life saving operations.

If anyone here did manage to get a lad killed then I'd like to buy them a drink.

I wouldn't be surprised, there's stories of lads kidnapping and killing victims over money.
Can't say I'd be happy if any of my baits contributed to a lad death though.

TS, any chance of a new icon for bank accounts reported to Alan?

Mod comment: Sorry, but probably not. The baiting related sig icons indicate an amount of effort on the baiter's part- baiting a lad into a safari, for instance, or researching and writing a report on a fraudulent site.

Reporting a site to Alan, however, merely requires the baiter to forward the email to him. It is certainly worthwhile, and should be done since it does indeed hurt the lad, but there is no effort required in it.

I forgot, but one time I put my lad in the hospital for a long time. While on safari to Abuja, he got hit by a bus. Ouch.

I like to believe in a couple of things called "free choice" and "karma".

They choose to do wrong and it's karma that comes to get them in the ass eventually. If they were honest people, they wouldn't be stranded 3,000 miles from home, surrounded by an angry mob with rocks or on the cover of "Ghana Homosexual Weekly" now would they?

I just like to think we're speeding the karmic process a little bit.

Spot on Weasel. There is a distinct differences between baiters and scammers... We pretty much do the same thing. One does it for selfish, MONETARY game. We do it for something different. So, using the argument that we say the same thing lads say, is a poor one. It's comparing apple's to oranges. It's not a matter of differing opinions (IMO Laughing

), but a matter of improper comparisons.

Edit: Why should I care if they don't care about their victims. They see no value in human life other than their own.
