So, as I mentioned a while back, it looked like I was going to have a new initiate into the Church of the . To be a full member, you, of course, need the Mark of L1feson, showing your dedication. In my signature, you can see my first two members of the Church proudly wearing their Marks.

In any event, I was told late last week that our newest sister, Phina, had indeed received her mark and that pictures would be forthcoming. And forthcoming they were:

I have my suspicion about the authenticity of the Mark. I believe it's a real tattoo, but it might be from one of my original members since he recruited her in hopes of becoming our South African Head Pastor. However, upon a close inspection of hers to his, they do not appear to be the same (the lines are much straighter on hers, the skin tone is entirely different):

In any event, I have written demanding a picture of her proudly displaying her mark -- that is her face and arm in the same picture. Until then I will keep the "?" upon on the post.

And not to worry, I have another new member who is supposedly ready to get his Mark, so if this one doesn't pan out.... Twisted Evil

Those are clearly different. Look at where the bottom points of the star meet and/or cross the circle. Not even close to the same. The second tattoo artist is much more skilled, you should get the pastor to have his redone.

Of course, still demand the additional photographic proof, but I think it's pretty definite that you've got a newly tattooed church member there! Good work!

Ouch. The wall tiles in the second photo are the same as the first. Leads me to believe that the two are related.

Connie is right about the tiles, the picture of the woman and the tattoo were taken in that same room.
I think that picture is of someone's leg? Look at the first picture with the woman, there's a plastic bucket on the floor. The handle of it shows up in the close up picture, which means the picture is either of someone's lower part of their body, or sitting on the floor? Also, if you look at the tiles in the closeup, it definitely looks like a floor.

You can see the wall and the floor in that picture. I think the tattoo is on her back over her right kidney. The white blob at the top is her bra strap, and the clothing at the bottom is her jeans.

Ahhh, interesting analysis. I noted the tile, but not the remaining details. Good forensic work everyone!

I am removing the "?" in light of everyone's comments and this email from my soon-to-be Head Pastor for South Africa:

Initiates to the Church of the Barchetta Rouge should expose themselves to the camera eye in front of trees... If they aren't finding their way to a lakeside park, or completely losing it, then at the very least they should use their free will to roll the bones, get out of their subdivisions, display some grace under pressure, and embark on a passage to, say, Bangkok... or Xanadu, for that matter. That's where they'll find the big money, and it's a far cry from the usual fly by night witch hunt.

Hopefully, they'll make it as far as YYZ, and the caress of steel will cause them to exit stage left. Or something like that.

is her baptism, which I asked our soon-to-be pastor to perform soonest:

Looks like the sister will drop her pants at a drop of a coin.

This is the second time she has dropped her pants.

Our good South African pastor responded today regarding our Sister's upcoming baptism:

^^^ I would write some thing crazy and have certain words in Latin
for the prayer. Tell the mugu to record in a regular tape and have it
uploaded to be sent to you.

Well, in the past I had many silly ideas ideas for the procedures of my church. One of them was that every lad who wants to become a member would have to sing a certain song praising the virgin Mary that - of course - has a completely different meaning in reality. Twisted Evil
