I just got one of those lottery letters. I almost clicked it off, but decided to just take a look.
First, it's from an AOL address.
Next, there is this scrolling number next to the words Winner number: Now, I expect that they did this so that the scrolling numbers (sort of like a spinning car mileage indicator) would stop on the number to indicate the lucky winner. But the stupid thing just keeps spinning. Then further down, it repeats the Winner number, but my winning number is 4. That's right, 4. Wooo...a one in ten shot on that lottery!
Then there's the graphics. One of an MSN logo which has been enlarged so much that it's terribly pixelated, and another which is a broken image. Lord knows what it was supposed to be.
Then of course the usual strange spellings and words:
