Sorry to give you a duff impression Lotta,I really didn't know what a Troll was.Then I got a bit carried away with the silliness of it all.Mrs.The Major was very dubious about me getting involved with all this,she now dies with hysterics every time a cat enters the back garden and I have to live with this.
I have never posted on a forum before and once I overcame the nervousness I was a little overwhelmed by the welcome and found I could,nt stop.
I still say I have never laughed so much in years,but I hope you lot don,t think I am one of those horrible things.
Trolls are crap,Majors(I think)are nice.
Thanks for the reassurance though.
Might be a good idea to lock this thread maybe? |

It's a strange thing but I have been having a go at the lads for a while now,did'nt even realise there were organisations like this for support.Idid'nt even know there was a Generic name for them.(Lads).
I have got a couple of them on the hook at the moment but I am harvesting hints of the masters in this forum and things are going well.
When they run their course I will sign up for a mentor and hopefully learn to do it like a pro.
I just feel that if I am allowed to make my own mistakes then my future mentor will not get irritated by my ignorance,ergo saving time on both sides.  Hence my naive questions. |

I think it was good to talk about the plusses (NONE) and the minuses (unlimited) of Trolls. Sharp sticks and steel toed boots with hobnail soles are best. I try to live by the axiom Don't Feed the Troll (DFTT).
I am glad Luckey chimed in since I have a friend Major too.

I'm glad I know what these things are now,and(in spite of my tangential way of thinking)I shall try to avoid such horrid creatures and behaviour in future.
As I mentioned at the start of this thread 'I am enlightened',I had no idea that it would go on for such a long time and lead to such important subjects like 'CatBingo'.
It is a little like being raised to the third degree in the Masons,except far more important.
I am blessed with a little of the 'knowledge' for which I am grateful.
My only worry is that posting in this forum is more fun than having the lads away so to speak. |
