Question about Surplus

When one takes on a topic posted in Surplus, is the post removed from Surplus? Are details of ongoing "investigations" hidden to keep the subjects unaware? From what I've seen so far, research and attention to detail are not among the top 25 characteristics of the average lad, but somebody might check our site before - say - traveling to a neighboring country to have a tattoo applied.

You could reply with four characters just to see what he goes for. If others bait him too you could make arrangements to get him used to a "special" procedure Wink

The answer is "no". Surplus is left open on purpose, so that potential vics who google the details of their latest fabulous offer are led here before they get involved and start sending money. As the emails get old, they are culled from Surplus (oldest ones there are from Feb) to keep things tidy. Chances are good that the email will have dropped from both the site and Google's cache long before anything as ambitious as a safari or tat could be arranged anyway.

This is why the only reply to a thread in Surplus should be "I'll have a go" or some such, and another reason not to bait with one's Eater nick. If you are concerned about getting Googled by your lad, keep your threads in the Help forum, which is behind a login.
