What is wrong with yahoo.com?

I tried many times to access my yahoo.com mail account but I get some strange messages like "come back later to access your email"

anybody else having the same problem with yahoo?

No problems for me. Perhaps it's operator error?

Happens to me every once in a while, but it clears up eventually.

I sent out around 12 emails to lads about 1:00pm PDT (2000 GMT)
and they all went out Ok.

I received a reply from one almost immediately.

It is not just him, it is spotty for me too. Just the mail side though. It is not constant and is only down for a few seconds when down. I am in the states.

@ mathias, maybe your computer needs a water cooling. Just 5 seconds of not too hot water, in a steady stream, steady, that�s the point! My mobile, after a few hiccups, has stopped ringing so nasty since then.

I have just tested the Chinese and Standard Arabian Yahoo. No problems there.

Dont know about Yahoo, but I'm having problems with Gmail. Been up and down all day and not heard much from my lads.

I've been having problems with Yahoo since yesterday. Not all accounts and not all the time.
Yahoo email has crashed a couple of times since then with various accounts.

I've had problems with one of my Yahoo accounts for several days now. All the others have been fine. It's pretty strange.
