Have lads started "working" a 7 day week? I used to be shocked if I got 1 Email on a Sunday, I have been swamped today. Anyone else noticed an upturn in business on a Sunday recently? Have more Internet Cafes started opening on a Sunday in West Africa? |

depending the area I think. my "friends" in Accra Ghana always work 24/7, Ivory Coast had some problems during the whole weekend and so had Nigeria. China phone lad was on 24/7 and answered with in 5 minutes every time. Benin closed on Sundays. So I guess that's why I like Ghana |

I'm not quite a war baby but in the late fifties and through to the sixties a lot of the shops (especially butchers and bakers and candlestick makers) in UKland had half day closing on a Weds afternoon. Probably because they had sold much of the stuff from the weekend by then and because rationing didn't end to 1973 when they had ran out of stock and we had a three (3) day week.
What's that got to do with your question I hear you ask? They - the lads -assuage their sins then come back suitably guilt free on Monday for more butchering. I hate weekends. I have to engage with RL because all my boxes are empty. |

I get some mail Sundays, but not a lot.
Some of my lads don't work Saturdays, either, as far as I can tell. |
