Get back to me now if you are ready to pay some fees to spare your life, $7,000 is all you need to spend You will first of all pay $3,000 then I will send a tape to you which I recorded every discussion i had with the person who wanted you dead and as soon as you get the tape, you will pay the remaining $4,000. If you are not ready for my help, then I will carry on with my job straight-up.

I'm really not trying to sound nasty, but for the question of "Has anyone ever seen this" the answer is always a "yes."

In the case of your email it's a standard hit man scam. They can be kinda fun to bait. One baiter (I don't remember who. Sorry) managed to find work with him tracking down the other baiters that didn't pay up.

There are folks out there that believe these emails. Can you imagine what they go through, thinking that someone is really out to kill them?

Yes the hitman scam has been here before if you check the main scambaiting forum there is a massbait going on with a lad called B1lly F40st. Hitman scammers are the dumbest type of lad imo.

Did this actually come from this aon.at addy? Or is this your address? Cause this looks interesting to me, as aon.at addresses (that�s the austrian telecom) are not normal freemail providers, and usually you need to have them as your ISP to get this kind of address. (the number after the aon is the "Kundennummer", the customer number). Would you be so nice and post the email with full headers for me?

I think I posted everything I have from this person, I am not that good with computer so I will ask somebody to look at it. I just marked and moved it. My address is nothing special just normal in the us as I know it.

I would be very interested in the header of the email. Do you use gmail? If so, you can get it this way:
Open the mail and in the top right corner of the mail there is a down-arrow. Click on it, and from there choose "Show original". This will open a new browser window where the mail with full headers is opened. Then be so kind and copy and paste the content in here (you should remove your email address from it) Thx a bunch Smile
