I normally don't bother posting my baits, mainly because I'm too bone idle. This one's quite short.
I can't remember what the original email from the lad was, it was the usual lad-rubbish. My reply:
Quote:

Dave, is that you?

I've been waiting for your email for a few days now. Look, I've got the
money you asked for, I know you need it soon. Will $10,000.00 be enough
for you? I can wire it to you at any time, just say the word.

So tell me Dave, how are things where you are? Did you manage to get
that fish you were after? I know they can be difficult to get at this
time of year. I know things are really busy for you but don't leave it
so long before getting in touch with me.

Best wishes
Ya old Dad
Jim

Dear Jim,

This is not Dave your son i am Barrister Fred Oladipo from Nigeria we need
your help to transfer and invest some funds in your country, please let
me know if you can assist us with this transaction so that i can send you
more informations about this transaction.

Truly Yours

Fred Oladipo,Esq.

OK, this lad wants to stick to his script. I don't want to.
Quote:

Fred,

Ok, thanks for the note. Can you tell Dave when you see him that we've
got the money he needed together, all we need to know is where to send
it.

It's so good to know that Dave is looking after himself and hiring a
barrister to look after things. We were quite worried, especially when
we noticed all the knives were missing.

Has Dave told you anything about the fish? It was really important when
he went off like that. Just tell him everything is OK and if he needs
any more money just let us know.

Thanks
Jim

A few days go by and no reply, so I ask:
Quote:

Did you get the money?

His reply was nice:
Quote:

You did not send any money. Dave is very sad.

Oh no! Dave is sad! There must be some way I can cheer Dave up. I'll send his favourite song!
Quote:

Please play this tune to Dave. It's his favourite tune and it always
cheers him up.

Jim

I sent him this:

I don't expect a reply, but if anyone wants to send Dave something to make him happy please send them via his new barrister [email protected] who will be happy to pass them on.

Well he will notice since he wanted you to send it via MoneyGram, not WU. This is actually a good thing since he can't check MoneyGram online, but now it's even better since he can't use the WU form at all Laughing
