Sir Paul McCartney has been scammed for ï¿½24 million by a one legged nutter.

Speaking outside London's High Court, Ms Mills said she was "glad it's over" and "it was an incredible result to secure mine and my daughter's future".

As part of the deal, Ms Mills will receive ï¿½14 million for herself and ï¿½2.5 million to buy a house in London.

The couple failed to reach an agreement in court last month, leaving the judge to determine the final figure.

Appeal

The judge awarded a lump sum of ï¿½16.5 million and assets of ï¿½7.8 million.

The settlement will also see Sir Paul pay their four-year-old daughter Beatrice's nanny and school fees and will pay Beatrice ï¿½35,000 a year.

The summary judgment stated that Ms Mills had sought ï¿½125 million and been offered ï¿½15.8 million by Sir Paul.

Ms Mills said would be appealing the publication of the ruling on Tuesday morning because of concerns for the security of her daughter.

Speaking on the steps of the High Court, she insisted she was "very very happy" with the decision.

A spokesman for Sir Paul McCartney said that the former Beatle would not be commenting on the settlement.

I don't know much about the woman but she certainly seems to be a drama queen. As for losing that much money, McCartney should have known better and gotten a pre-nup.

The fact that Mr. Paul neglected to get a prenup must be the biggest oversight in history! What a costly mistake. What an idiot.

EDITED TO ADD: I think she is a money grubbing wench. Paul seems to have held up a certain amount of dignity in all of this. I cannot say the same for her. As I recall, she was on "Dancing with the Stars". There is no dignity in that.

Sadly, the only winners in this whole sorry mud slinging saga are the lawyers.

Apparently, Heather was so overcome by the outcome she danced around in circles outside the court and corkscrewed herself into the ground. Allegedly!

However, the thing that really pisses me off is I can no longer tell my : "What's got three legs and lives on a farm ?" joke. Crying or Very sad

This might be a bit out of context, but the following phrase appeared on the site, which is selling a 99GBP book on how to protect your assets

There is no other way to protect your assets except not to get married in the UK.

Only ï¿½2.5m($5m) to buy a house in London. That won't buy a VW camper van in Earls Court these days. And the daughter on only ï¿½37,000 a year has to travel 'B' class whilst Pauly travels 'A' class. Welcome to the real world.

Be interesting to see if the blond corkscrew (sorry bombshell) drops the McCartney tag on her surname.

^^^ she had a job. It was worth ï¿½700 per hour, although she wanted ï¿½3500 per hour.

If she invests the ï¿½35,000 pa, then her daughter will have well over half a million by the time she comes of age. (4%pa) I doubt there's any risk of that though.

This must be a Britishism of some sort - I don't quite know what it means, but it sounds like it refers to someone who would change the songwriting credit from "Lennon/McCartney" to "McCartney/Lennon". Is that about right?
