Nice.
Threshers are robbing gits at the best of times, they charge 8 or 9 pounds for a bottle that you can get at Tescos or Patels mini mart for 5 or 6 pounds. That's why they do that 3 for the price of two offer, in reality you're only paying standard price for all 3 bottles. I normally buy at Majestic but you have to buy in bulk there.
Great offer though, I'll use one of those. Funnily enough the assistant in the shop last time I was in there told me to go to their website and check the offer out, but I forgot all about it. Thanks spot! |

You only have to put an email address if you tick the "other offers" box. Otherwise you can leave it blank. |

~ Mugatu,
When the offer was there in 2006 my local [small] Theashers didn't have a clue what was going on and had to check with the Head Office, and it all checked out.
Two days later the shelves were almost empty ...and it wasn't all me
Did the Chancellor put any more duty on booze in the budget today ? |

They had one last December as well.
It was supposed to be an "accidentally" available voucher but was actually rather clever viral advertising.
Scots may want to note that it excludes Victoria Wine and Haddows which seem to be the most common Threshers group stores up here. |

No need to even bother doing that. Just make one up - they're not about to test the address whilst you're in the store. |

Like our penny, except they have halfpence too. I believe a halfpence would be closer to the actual value of our penny. |

^^ Stopped being legal tender in 1984.
And now the 5 pence piece has taken over as the tiny one that you wouldn't bother bending down to pick up if dropped in the street.... |

No, they haven't been legal tender for something like 20 years.
By the way, the US use of the word "penny" comes from the UK coin, one pence, or one penny. They're actually called that. I often wondered why Americans referred to their small denominations as pennies when that's one of our coins. For instance we'd never say "I don't have a cent". |
